My Treatment Background

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), licensed in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA, while focusing on research in relationships, health, culture, minority mental health, and social justice. My Masters was obtained through Boston College’s Clinical Social Work program.

I have spent the last decade working as a therapist with hundreds of patients of all ages, in a variety of settings! These include non-profits, community mental health centers, outpatient offices, schools, research labs, substance abuse programs, and residential facilities. I specialize in attachment issues, trauma, body image, eating concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and mood disorders like anxiety or depression.

I have a Trauma Certification from Rhode Island College and a certificate in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also a Chapter Member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.
